ONGWEDIVA, 16 JUN (NAMPA) – The bodies of two men who died when a well they were in collapsed at Okatope village on Saturday, were recovered Sunday.
The spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force in the Ohangwena Region, Warrant Officer Kaume Iitumba confirmed that the bodies of Junias Kashima Hauwanga, 29, from Ohalushu village and Jacob Hangula, 37, from Okatope were found.
They were trapped underground after the well, which they were digging at the village to get water, collapsed.
