SWAKOPMUND, 22 MAR (NAMPA) - A Japanese fishing vessel ran aground at Mile 108 between Henties Bay and Terrace Bay on Thursday and is leaking oil.
The vessel, Fukuseki Maru No 8, was on its way from Angola to the Port of Walvis Bay.
Speaking to Nampa on Thursday, Public Relations Officer in the Ministry of Works and Transport, Julius Ngwedha said all crew members are safe. He could, however, not say how many crew members there are.
