Kavango West feels shut off from the world
Written by Sawi Hausiku on 21 April 2017.NKURENKURU, 21 APR (NAMPA) – Governor of the Kavango West Region, Sirkka Ausiku on Thursday said her region suffers from a shortage of communication network infrastructure.
Ausiku said many villages in constituencies such as Ncucuni, Ncamagoro, Mankumpi, Musese, Tondoro, Mpungu and Kapako cannot access the Telecom Namibia and Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) networks.
The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation towers are also non-existent in the region.
