WINDHOEK, 28 MAY (NAMPA) – A Braille newspaper launched by the New Era Publication Corporation (NEPC) in 2013 had to be halted just one year later due to the high costs involved in printing the paper.
The project was a joint initiative between NEPC and the Namibian Federation of the Visually Impaired (NFVI) and involved the publishing of a weekly round-up of content of the New Era newspaper.
The initial total printing cost for the newspaper was N.dollars 10 000 when it was launched.
