WINDHOEK, 30 OCT (NAMPA) - The Namibia National Labour Organisation (NANLO) says the Inspector-General of the Namibian Police Force, Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga is allegedly preventing police officers from joining unions.
NANLO president Evilastus Kaaronda said at a media conference in the capital on Thursday that the law as it stands says police officers who wish to become members of trade unions, must submit written requests to the Inspector-General.
