Omusati launches Global Turn Back Crime initiative

OUTAPI, 15 OCT (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Omusati Region on Monday launched the Global Turn Back Crime campaign to mobilise society to join hands with the police in combating crime.
Introducing the initiative officially, Omusati Governor Erginus Endjala said the launch of Turn Back Crime in the Omusati Region has been overdue, as the region has been experiencing cross-border crimes such as smuggling of illicit drugs, counterfeit goods, human trafficking and stolen goods.
