Rundu council destroys illegal horticulture garden at sewer pond

RUNDU, 09 OCT (NAMPA) – The Rundu Town Council on Wednesday called in a grader to destroy a horticulture garden of cabbage, onions, tomatoes and strawberries, that have been using sewage water for irrigation purposes without purification.
The garden is situated along the council sewer pond and it has been using raw sewer water for the fruit and vegetables.
