Gobabis learner wins national cattle judging competition

WINDHOEK, 08 OCT (NAMPA) – Leonise Human, a 17-year-old learner from Gobabis Gymnasium Private School won the National Cattle Judging Competition at the recently-ended Windhoek Agricultural and Industrial Show in the capital.
The initiative, sponsored by Bank Windhoek and Feedmaster, was aimed at providing school-going learners in grades 9 to 11 with skills and knowledge of feeding and judging stud animals on the farm and in show rings, specifically the Simbra and Simmentaler cattle breeds.
