1 (SWAKOPMUND, 15 JUN, NAMPA) - Several families were left homeless on Friday when nine shacks were destroyed in a fire at the Single Quarters in Swakopmund’s Mondesa residential area.

Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Gurirab of the Namibian Police Force said in a crime report on Saturday one of the shacks caught fire and it spread to the eight other shacks in the same yard.
