1 (WINDHOEK, 19 APR, NAMPA) – Namibia reclaimed the position at the top of the Reporters Without Borders Press Freedom Index in Africa for the year 2019, after losing it to Ghana last year.

Globally, the country took the 23rd position out of 180 countries ranked.

Ghana is now second in Africa and South Africa third.
