Ongandjera Tradional Authority ready to host Omagongo Cultural Festival

WINDHOEK, 18 APR (NAMPA) - The Ongandjera Traditional Authority will host the 2019 Omagongo Cultural Festival at Uukwandongo village in the Omusati Region on 27 April.
The event will take place at the homestead of Ongandjera king Johannes Mupongolitha ya Jafet Mupiya.
The festival is celebrated annually on a rotation basis by the eight Aawambo communities - Oukwanyama, Ondonga, Uukwaluudhi, Uukwambi, Ongandjera, Ombalantu, Uukolonkadhi and Ombadja.
