SU, MUN sign wage agreement

SWAKOPMUND, 21 MAR (NAMPA) – The Swakop Uranium (SU) and the Mineworkers Union of Namibia (MUN) on Wednesday signed a 7 per cent wage increment agreement for all bargaining unit Husab mineworkers here.
This comes after the Husab mineworkers petitioned SU regarding the vague salary structures and job gradings in 2017.
The employees complained that there were huge differences between salaries of workers carried out the same duties..
The agreement also entails an increase of housing allowance ...
