Kauta resigns as Namcor board chairperson

WINDHOEK, 11 OCT (NAMPA) - Patrick Kauta on Tuesday resigned as the board chairperson of the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) in a letter addressed to the Minister of Mines and Energy, Tom Alweendo.
His resignation comes two years after his appointment as chairperson of the board.
“I have served Namcor for the last two years to the best of my ability and the highest integrity with the interest of Namcor at heart at all times,” he wrote.
