Robbers target sleepy Drimiopsis settlement

GOBABIS, 19 SEP (NAMPA) – The police in the Omaheke Region are hot on the trail of suspected armed robbers after they allegedly hit a local grocery shop at Drimiopsis, some 40 kilometres north of Gobabis.
The robbers stormed the shop Tuesday night at an unknown time and ordered everyone to lie down. They allegedly tied up some of the staff in the shop.
They then demanded money and got away with an unspecified amount after they were handed a cash box.
