NamPol arrest two people in possession of live pangolin

WINDHOEK, 18 JUN (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) arrested two people in the capital on Friday for possession of one live pangolin valued at N.dollars 50 000.
A media release issued by NamPol on Monday said the arrest of a man and a woman follows a crime prevention operation conducted by the Protected Resources Division in the capital.
They are charged with contravention of Section 4 (1) (a) (b) of Controlled wildlife products and Trade Act 9/2008, and Act 6 of 2017 as amended.
