‘My Namibia’ song competition called off

WINDHOEK, 08 MAR (NAMPA) – The ‘My Namibia’ song competition that was launched in August 2017, has been called off.
The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture organised the competition to boost national identity, pride and nation building.
However, Minister of Information and Communication Technology Stanley Simataa told a media briefing on Thursday only 6 827 votes were cast for the top five competing songs.
