Rehoboth commemorates International Women's Day

REHOBOTH, 08 MAR (NAMPA) - International Women’s Day was celebrated at Rehoboth on Thursday under the theme ‘From peace in the home, to peace in Namibia: Press for Progress’.
In a speech read on her behalf, Minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, Doreen Sioka said it is time to uphold women’s achievements, recognise challenges and focus greater attention on women’s rights and gender equality to mobilise all people to do their part and “press for progress”.
