Two people drown in Chobe River

KATIMA MULILO, 14 NOV (NAMPA) – Two men drowned in the Chobe River in the Zambezi Region last week after the boat that carried them capsized.
The boat was carrying five people, in addition to corrugated iron and zinc sheets and poles.
Three people survived the incident with the assistance of members of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol), who were patrolling the area.
