Otjozondjupa showcases traditional foods to celebrate heritage week

OTJIWARONGO, 23 SEP (NAMPA) - Hundreds of Otjozondjupa residents on Friday gathered at Otjiwarongo to showcase and sell cooked traditional meals in celebrating the week of culture and national heritage.
Some of the food on display included cooked donkey meat, beef, porridge, raw traditional vegetables, beans, mahangu and sour milk, amongst others.
Various traditional and school cultural groups performed dramas, rituals and dances in celebrating the week of culture and national heritage.
