Woman drowns at Opuwo

OPUWO, 17 FEB (NAMPA) The body of a woman was found in a river at the Okatutura settlement at Opuwo on Thursday morning.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)s crime investigations coordinator for Kunene, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Kanyetu told Nampa on Friday the body was found by a passer-by, who informed the police.
The woman has been identified as 42-year-old Tjepinga Kotila.
It is suspected that she attempted to cross the river and drowned.
Her next of kin have been informed.
